PCSensor's 3-Switch Foot Pedal for Gaming/Computing | Kazujin's Gadget

June 28, 2020

Yet another affordable gadget for accessibility goodness – a 3-pedal USB Footswitch from PCSensor ! Cost roughly around USD 20-40 depending on the promotion, you can also purchase it in Amazon or other major online shopping sites. Length of the USB cable is around 6 feet.

For example in here. (iKKEGOL is the OEM rebrand for the same PCSensor)
Amazon
Lazada

Software can be downloaded here

FYI: my Q button in this pedal, is to trigger an AutoHotkey script available in When you pair this with AutoHotKey , you can write a combination of key press sequences with it.

Software Issue / Bug Found
The software won’t work when the device is plugged into a hub instead of an actual USB port. If you encounter that your software isn’t detecting the device don’t panic. Just plug it into the USB port instead of a hub and it should work. (well at least true to the version I’m using which is 6.9.6). Note: You can replug it into any hub, after reprogramming is done.

Photo of the actual setup of mine is at my blog post here

Score Rating
– Accessibility (Offloading Control Device) – 4/5 Not the best of build quality but it provides the user enough switches to offload their main controls. E.g. 1 handed gamers or those that play with a one-handed controller can use this device to offload some controls to their feet.
– Portability 3/5 – Lightweight but would be great if the equipment can be dismantled and reassembled for portability.
– Pricing 5/5 – Most accessibility gadgets are expensive. This one is affordable.

  • I have a pedal like this. When I bought it it didn't come with an installation CD. I can't get it to work on my Windows 10. Anyone who can help me will be very grateful! . A hug from Brazil.

  • I see in the amazon description that the software is only compatable with windows 7…. so does that mean the software will not work on the 64 bit version of windows 10?

  • Thanks for the review. Very helpful. Can a pedal be setup to recognise a sequence of key press's? For example if in a game I have to constantly press the escape key, and then press the spacebar after that, will the foot-pedal software allow me to do that. Just to clarify, I don't mean a combination of key presses, such as pressing SHIFT & 1 at the same time, but one after the other.
